Getting Started with Kramer & Frank
The first step in obtaining our help is to enter an agreement. Once we agree on the terms of our representation, you can start placing claims with K&F. Clients place claims both electronically and via physical documents.
When K&F receives a new claim, it will acknowledge receipt so that you know that we are on the job. A K&F attorney will review each new claim to make certain that we have what we need to assist you. We will then send an initial demand letter to the consumer or business debtor.
We will assign a collection administrator to work on your claim. The collection administrator will try to contact the consumer or business debtor to obtain payment, work out a payment arrangement, or, if you approve, settle the claim. But if we cannot settle the claim voluntarily, K&F can, with your approval, file suit in the appropriate court. If the court grants judgment in your favor, we will attempt to collect it, voluntarily if possible, or via execution if necessary. We will work on your claim as long as it takes to reach a resolution.
